Global Economy and Outsourcing is Good.

Trigor,

Since you and I both watched the movie "Outsourced" and we work in IT which has a lot of outsourcing to India and other places I wanted to see if you agree with my sentiment that Global Economy and Outsourcing is good.  It is very inconvenient and I, like many others, am directly impacted (my rate is down, less jobs available, etc.) I still believe it is a good thing because it makes the world depend on each other more thus making it more difficult for international conflict since we are so intertwined.  I believe that protectionism is bad and growth is good.  What do you think?

  1. I think this: outsourcing = quality down, savings up.

Also, it depends what is being outsourced. Pure coding per precidse specs is ok. Any other work that requires logical thinking is bound for poor quality and disaster results in time.

  2. Oh, and global economy sucks ass. The world is becoming a one huge shopping center. Globalization has its benefits, but it destroys the vibrant cultures that used to be so much fun to explore. Fuck the globalization, fuck the corporations that own the world, and fuck you for supporting this.

  3. Trigor,

Your eloquence seeps out of every line you write. I can see you are a well read individual :)

As to the points you are making. Of course Outsourcing is done to save money and it has its downfalls. However, I am of the opinion that utilizing the highly skilled and educated people from around the world to do jobs is beneficial.

As to Global Economy - my philosophy is find what you do best and do it and surround yourself with others that do other things best. That way all will be happy and the quality improves. This is taking it to a global scale. Of course there are problems and not everyone plays fairly, etc. etc. but when perfected over time it is the right way to go.

As to the vibrant cultures, I think you will agree that regardless of where you are and before "globalization" we still had Wallmars and McDonalds on every corner. The buildings look similar and the streets are named the same. We had that in US and in USSR.

I do wholeheartedly agree with you on the need to break up the large corporations that control the world, that is the source of most of our troubles - vibrant cultures certainly included.

  4. " I am of the opinion that utilizing the highly skilled and educated people from around the world to do jobs is beneficial. " - this statement alone is an oxymoron. Feel free to listen in on the conversations I have with BO support stationed in India. You will quickly shove those so well polished words into your rectum.

It is not right way to go: global economy will dictate how people live around the world. That sucks. The global trending will overrun free spirit, it will pollute countries with the notions of junk food, "popular" culture, mindless literature, and so fourth. It will destroy the spirit of independence, it will make the world be a giant herd of morons. The problem is that we can not stop it, unfortunately.

And no, we did not have McD on every corner. McD on every corner appeared in the past what, 30 years? There was plenty of time before when you did not see the mother-fucking Starbucks in Emperor's Palace in Beijing. Morons wielding iPhones think that their democracy and hamburgers must be consumed by everyone else. Fuck them, and fuck you for supporting it.

Oh, and if there IS one thing that needs to be broken up: it is the herd of morons not being able to function without their useless iShit.

  5. Since you are disecting my comments - let's do the same to yours...

"...this statement alone is an oxymoron. Feel free to listen in on the conversations I have with BO support stationed in India. You will quickly shove those so well polished words into your rectum..." You and I have done lots of training all around the coutry and you will agree that there are smart and not so smart people everywhere - India included...

"...The global trending will overrun free spirit, it will pollute countries with the notions of junk food, "popular" culture, mindless literature, and so fourth. It will destroy the spirit of independence, it will make the world be a giant herd of morons..." Nice high flying talking points - countries and people in those countries are responsbile for their perception of life and education of their children - they don't have to take in the polution. And I did agree with you that I am very much against multi-national billion dollar corporations that have that effect.

"...Morons wielding iPhones think that their democracy and hamburgers must be consumed by everyone else..." I love that phrase and think it is very funny. Once again however, people will determine what is right for them regardless of what morons will tell them - (hint hint...lol)
As far as iPhones are concerned - I think you are suffering from iEnvy.

  6. "You and I have done lots of training all around the coutry and you will agree that there are smart and not so smart people everywhere - India included..." - Yes. But for some reason, vast majority of peeps i deal with are not so smart. I am just a magnet for idiots I guess! Our friendship only confirms this! LULZ!

"Nice high flying talking points - countries and people in those countries are responsbile for their perception of life and education of their children - they don't have to take in the polution. " - Utopian philosophical bullshit. People in ther mass will gobble up whatever media and advertising will push their way. They have no chance: russians are now using multiple choice answers on their exams, and eat up western cultural trash. The dumbisation of world society is inevitable. And fuck you for supporting this by buying your iphone. Asshole.

"I love that phrase and think it is very funny. Once again however, people will determine what is right for them regardless of what morons will tell them - (hint hint...lol)

I am not here for your fucking enjoyment per se, but rather a sorry ass attempt to talk some sense into your brainwashed psychi. Your cultural upbringing is almost lost: you are consumed by western greed for cheap art and useless gadgets. You speak like one of them democracy loving imbicils. Your european roots are almost dead. So stop your giggling and do something about this, or else you will be completely consumed by the pop culture of this era.

  7. Spoken like a true "mildly" negative person that you are :)

  8. Go see a musical, you iDumbAss!

  9. That was a freudian slip when you said iDumbAss...I agree competely - you definitely are!

  10. Your sense of humor is non-existant. You are an absolute failure as a comedian. Your little jabs sound like insults of a 5th grader. Which is understandable, considering books you read and musicals you watch.

  11. Apparently reading "grownup" books hasn't done very much for you. You still can't spell or reason. But that's understandable considering you read books in Russian and most of them cover topics that are hundreds of years old. Thus your understanding of humanity is slightly behind...that's OK, they will be writing about how iPhone changed the world in a hundred years or so, you'll catch up eventually.

  12. The language the books are written in makes no difference: it is the content that matters. While you waste your time by reading Dan Brown's fast food crap, I read about people, society, wars, love: topics that are relevant today as much as they were relevant 200 years ago. That is what makes these books classics. The shit you read will be powering fireplaces fifty years from now. They will be forgotten, and be sold off at dusty second hand book stores for 50 cents.

But hey: you live in the USA, the most powerful nation on earth. The culture of musicals and literature is the best, and I am sure your "deep" understanding of the aformentioned concepts is undeniable.

Keep kidding yourself. Don't forget to use your iphone while you do.

PS: today I was riding on my train with a friend, when we noted a guy sitting across with his brand new iPad. I could not see his face, but saw that he was actively using it. So I asked my friend: is the guys' mouth open? He looks and says "yes".

  13. Igor, do you know what iPads are used for mostly? - reading books and if you had any of your classics in electronic format and an iPad you would be sitting on the train reading it. So who are you crapping?

  14. I don't need a 500 device to read a book. If I want to read a book I ... drum roll ... read a book. The one made up of paper. They still work you know!

BTW, I think this blog has a negative effect on you. While you exercise tounge twisting here, the masses are en route to get the new iPhone. You should leave immediately to catch up with the rest of the herd to make sure you have this life critical gadget.

  15. I would but they are not available until June 24th and you cannot get in line for one until next week - so don't tease!
